SNAPCHAT 101 - 3 WAYS TO SAVE YOUR SNAPS
April 23, 2016
JULY 2016 UPDATE:
Your Snaps (photos and videos) may disappear 24 hours from when you post them to your Story but that doesn't mean they can't live forever inside your phone. (Come on, are you really printing your photos out? #ProbNot) Since we all want to save our fave pics, here are 3 simple ways to download your Snaps right to your camera roll - before or after - posting to your Story. #cool
(1)
DOWNLOAD YOUR SNAP BEFORE YOU POST IT TO YOUR STORY
When you take a photo or video, you can download it right away (you don't even have to add it to your Story)
Check out image 1 above and see where the black arrow is pointing - a downward-facing white arrow on the left over a white u shape. This is the download button.
Every photo or video you take will give you this option.
(2)
DOWNLOAD YOUR SNAP AFTER IT'S POSTED TO YOUR STORY
After you post a photo or video to your Story, you can still download it.
Check out image 2 above and see the where black arrow is pointing - a downward-facing triangle with a straight line under it all the way on the right. This is also a download button.
Every time you post a Snap and go in to see that Snap you will have this option.
(Btw, to get there, you just click the 3 vertical gray buttons to the right of MY STORY on the STORIES screen at the top to see your current list of Snaps)
(3)
DOWNLOAD YOUR ENTIRE CURRENT STORY
Love your current Story? (the photos and videos that are currently in your Story. Those that have not disappeared because it has been 24 hrs since you had posted them)
Have you Snapped an event, a party, an experience, a house tour etc, that you want to save as a mini-movie? Well, you can.

SNAPCHAT FOR BUSINESS THOUGHTS
Saving your Snaps for personal use is awesome but don't forget the integrated efforts you can deploy by downloading and using Snaps across your business social platforms. Download your Snaps and (re)share across Instagram or Twitter or Facebook or an e-Newsletter to your community. It's pretty common and totally ok to repurpose your content. It's also a cool way to encourage your community to head over to see what you are creating and sharing on Snapchat.
